At the Tea & Coffee World Cup/ASIA 2008 (TCWC) held at Hyderabad, India in November 2008, AZACONSA of Spain participated to showcase to the Indian consumers their world class product – SHIP sweetener, an aspartame-based sweetener approved by FDA.

The company was assisted by Emmen Consultant & Investment Co, Mumbai to exhibit the products at the exhibition and create product awareness among the Trade and Consumers.

TCWC became the launch pad for SHIP Sweetener in India and the official distributors in India, Emmen Consultant & Investment Co, Mumbai, received tremendous response from the hospitality industry, agents from different parts of India and consumers.

SHIP sweetener is aspartame-based, which has been extensively tested and approved by FDA, WHO and the American Diabetes Association.

SHIP tablets are available in easy to use dispensers containing 110 and 330 tablets and in institution packs of 500 sachets. SHIP is also available in granulated powder form in sachets with pack sizes of 25 and 60 sachets and in institution packs of 500 sachets.

The Indian distributor has adopted the slogan "Stay in ‘ship’ shape with SHIP Sweetener" to promote the product.

AZACONSA of Spain has now developed special English packaging for the Indian subcontinent market which will readily absorb this new product as was evident from the response at the exhibition. Emmen will now be opening two new offices, one in the eastern capital of Kolkata and one in Nadiad, central Gujarat, to cater to the agents and dealers in the region. Inspired by the success of the Hyderabad TCWC, AZACONSA were also present at Tea & Coffee World Cup/EUROPE 2009 in Seville, Spain.
