Modern Process Equipment Corporation (MPE) introduces the redefined, unparalleled Turkish Coffee Granulizer. This unit incorporates state-of-the-art design and engineering with proven technology features for superior performance in the most demanding of Turkish coffee production facilities.

With the use of MPE's "active roll cleaning system", the size of coffee particles can be reduced to 50 microns, or about ? the thickness of a hair.?Not only is this fine ground coffee size achievable, but the Turkish grinder also provides a consistent grind size distribution, thereby creating the targeted, superior coffee taste that is demanded by the ultrafine coffee market. Through this continuous, accurate and dynamically adjustable control of particle size, shape, density and flavor, the Turkish Granulizer produces the coolest, most uniform and, in due course, highest quality ultrafine ground coffee in the world.

Other features include a modular stacked design, precision roll corrugations, a variable speed power feeder and infinite gap control. Additionally, the use of diamond-hard, space age materials, developed through the MPE/NASA (North American Space Program) partnership, provides the durability required for Turkish and Ultrafine applications.

MPE also answers the common grinding problems associated with "fines" or undersized particles in the coffee extraction process by offering the MPE Extraction 2.0 (E2) Soluble Coffee Granulizer. This state-of-the-art unit utilizes specially-designed and engineered grinding rolls that deliver unparalleled grind uniformity on coarse coffee grinds used in extraction processes ranging in capacity from 600 - 6,000 lbs/hr. Statistically, in tested applications, "fines" levels have been as low as 1.5%.
