US

Modern Process Equipment (MPE) has launched its newest addition to its product line – the MPE Chain-Vey. This tubular drag conveyor marries chain and disc technologies to gently move products without the use of air. The Chain-Vey ensures the transport of particle blends without the risk of segregation or breakage, thereby making it an optimal solution for hundreds of products including ground coffee, dried foods, material chips, activated carbon and more.

Various sizes (4", 5", 6") meet nearly all capacity requirements and the flexible design is capable of making directional changes, in multiple planes and is constructed to meet the standards required in sanitary environments.

Aside from the intuitive benefits listed above, other Chain-Vey advantages include: sealed tube – contains aroma and allows for air-tight conveying; self-cleaning – eliminates cleaning between change-over; conveying distances up to 300 feet; flexible designs – multiple inlets and discharge points possible and four times less energy usage compared to pneumatic conveying systems.

MPE announces promotions

Daniel Ephraim, president of Modern Process Equipment (MPE), has announced a number of promotions at the company.

"We are looking forward to continuing our strong growth with the leadership of this team," Ephraim said. "MPE is committed to providing its customers with the highest quality products and services and part of that commitment comes from choosing the right people for the right job. With these newly-appointed positions, I feel that MPE has made the correct choices to keep the company moving forward successfully."
