A growing body of research indicates that tea may diminish certain types of cancer risk, with new results showing a particular effectiveness against ovarian cancer.

A new study of 2,000 women conducted by researchers at the University of Washington concluded that drinking at least one cup of green tea daily can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer by 54%.

A study by the National Institute of Environmental Medicine found a similar result: two or more cups a day of black tea reduced the rate by almost half.
